We've Broken A Barrier
There is a growing belief inside league circles that the NFL and NFL Players Association will have an agreement in place that can be ratified during the July 21 league meetings in Atlanta, according to sources familiar with the state of negotiations. So they do believe there is no reason to not get a deal done.
We took a big stem today, finally we have come to an agreement on an NFL rookie wage scale.(kinda) It has been long enough for the ongoing negotiations.
Adam Shefter is reporting that the owners and players have come to some sort of an agreement, it has not been fully ratified, there are still many t's to cross and i's to dot. But this has become no longer a "major issue".
They have confidence (owners and players) an agreement is evident. There is a document, known as "The Transition Rules". This is something that owners and players would have to follow when, and if they do come to a new agreement for a CBA (Collective Barging Agreement) .
With "The Transition Rules", it is being reported that this is a very structured document, there is a timeline on when everything should begin. Such as the start of the new league year.
Which it has as July 28 being the open market for eligible free agents (Which would be the start of the new league year ), this is the time the teams will be able to acquire players eligible to be a free agent.
"The Transition Rules" also would include a designated period for teams to sign undrafted free agent rookies, a pool that routinely provides productive and even star players. As all buccaneer fans know, Mark Dominik will be routinely plucking his diamonds in the rough from that pool.
But that does leave a very insufficient time for the two teams to be ready for the Hall of Fame Game.
But I mean who really cares, I could care less if the Hall of Fame Game gets played or it doesn't get played. If we have a total agreement by July 28, I will be one happy fan, as everyone else will be as well.
Well we are just one step closer to having football back!

This Ridiculous Lockout
Where do I even begin, I mean it's so asinine that we are even in this position that we are in today. How long did we know this was coming? For awhile and the owners and PA (Players Assocation) wasted two years of no negotiation and striving to attain a new CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) to be in place.
But no,the postion we are in today is that we are still LOCKED-OUT . All of the time before the lockout was a major FAIL,while everyone just sat back and took the situation way too lightly and this is the result.
Well now that we supposably have the main issue of the revenue settled, we are down to just the trivial things, which are not so little such as a rookie cap.
This should have been in place a long time ago, so the Jamarcus Russle's of the world would not be able to destroy a franchise the way he DESTROYED the Oakland Raiders when they handed him a $61 million dollar contract with $32 million guaranteed and he got fat and did not work.(even tho we all know Al Davis isn't helping much with his decisions)
Just one of the many issues that I think are so very crucial. Not only getting this deal done but the future of the NFL.
Again everyone keeps reciving so much hope that we are imminent to a deal getting done, one day, then the next day the players and owners have taken steps back, its very exhausting as fans of football. I will contune to believe all of the positive reports that keep coming out, hoping my heart won't get broken with terrible news in the end.
I Just hope that the commissioner and all of the NFL owners, players and everyone involved in this incongruous lockout, learns, from this experience, and we are not siting here in this same exact circumstance the next time the CBA expires.
Main point in foucs today: Get the deal done, and lets play some football!

2010 NFL DRAFT
Well lets start this thing off right first of all this is one of the deepest drafts coming out in a while. So that is why it is very imortant that every pick we make is the best one. I say we are in a pefect situtation i think one of the big boys will fall to us either suh or McCoy you cant go wrong this has been our biggest need since we let sapp walk away this defense is predicated on pressure especially from up the middle. So now we have a beast at that 3 tech which helps the whole defense out. let me move on we then need to snag a reciever i like Golden Tate and Jordan Shipley. We also could use a LB, DE, RB. Its not sure where the coaching staff will go theres alot of depth at running back in this draft. A gem i think we could pick up is CB Javier Arenas he reminds me alot of Ronde Barber plus he has return ablities which is key. So in my opinon we have to got alot of starters in this draft this draft is key to the sucess of our future. Lets go front office scouting personel and coaching staff lets get this thing done!
The Glazers
We all know how they do not like spend any money right now. They have clearly stated that they will not be making any big splashes in FA they have stated they will build through the draft. Ok i respect and understand that but we are tied for the lowest payroll in the leauge you have to spend some money to build a championship team. Im not saying lets be Daniel Synder and buy the the whole world but to fix this team we need to to spend money. The Glazers are so concerened with MAN-U. They need to refocus and re build the team we built in the 90s to early 2000s. basically bottem line we need to spend money and stop being tight wads.
KANSAS LOST!!!!
Wow what a game did anybody see that coming? I sure didnt but you have to give credit to Northen Iowa for steping up to the big dog when nobody gave them a shot they played very smart and CLUTCH basketball late in the game when the game was in balance. I flet really bad for the kansas kids after the game but felt so excited and happy for the kids for Nothern Iowa they worked really hard and slayed the number one team. People need to keep an eye on this team they are playing with a chip on their shoulder. But it was just a great game overall I liked seeing the under dog come out on top.
Thoughts and Overview of the BUCS
What is wrong with the Bucs? Well there is alot that one could list but it could all be sloved if the glazers decied to spend the money that we HAVE and make the 2010 draft the best draft that we have had in about the last 10-15 years. We need to get alot of starters and roll players out of this draft I just hope the scouting department is doing there job in finding the gems of this draft because thats whats really gonna build this team and this franchise back up to where it needs to be and should be.
